About The Author
Dennis Fermoyle is a graduate of Bemidji
State University, and has been a high school teacher
in northern Minnesota for thirty-one years. He and his
wife, Susan, live in Warroad, Minnesota, and they have
three grown children who all attended public schools
and have gone on to success in their fields. Fermoyle
teaches American History, Advanced Placement American
Government, Economics, and Sociology at Warroad High
School, and he is a co-head coach of the varsity hockey
team. He has been his school district's Teacher of the
Year, a local union president, a state championship
coach, and president of the Minnesota State High School
Hockey Coaches' Association. He earned his Masters Degree
in 2001 from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth,
Minnesota.
